Senior Associate Michelle de Vera negotiates a $20,000 settlement in client’s [1] discrimination suit against the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services

The client retained Pitre & Associates due to the long-standing discrimination and harassment she was suffering at her Agency.  As soon as the matter reached the EEOC, the parties participated in mediation where Ms. de Vera successfully negotiated a $20,000 settlement. The client had the following to add to this success story: I want to thank Ms. de Vera for her assistance in bringing my case to a successful and amicable resolution. She was professional, responsive, thorough in her analysis of the matter, and flexible and clear in her communication. I was not certain where this would lead, and I am very satisfied with the outcome. Ms. de Vera’s engagement enabled resolution of prior harm and has allowed me to move forward.
