Michelle de Vera was born and raised in Miami, FL to parents of Cuban descent.  She attended Florida International University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology & Minor in Criminal Justice.  Michelle then obtained her Juris Doctorate from American University, Washington College of Law.  After obtaining her Juris Doctorate, Michelle worked for several large firms as a contract attorney in Washington, DC.

In 2010, she relocated to Miami, FL and worked at Broad & Cassel where she represented lenders in residential foreclosure actions as well as oversaw and managed the document review process from collection to production for several practice groups including Commercial Litigation, Health Law and Real Estate.

In 2012, Michelle founded Miami Legal Group, PLLC a firm that specializes in personal injury, family, and immigration law.  Her goal at Miami Legal Group is to achieve the best possible result for her clients while maintaining an open line of communication with her clients.  The firm focuses on assisting client’s in understanding the legal process every step of the way. 

In 2016, Michelle decided to extend her legal reach and join Pitre & Associates where she can use her legal knowledge, commitment to client relationship, and experience in firm management in order to assist federal employees through the legal process and achieve their desired results.

Michelle is admitted to practice law in Florida, US District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and District of Columbia and is fluent in Spanish.
